USL/NCSI Background Screening Purchase Information:
When you purchase this background screening, it will be placed in your shopping cart. You will not immediately see the cost until you proceed to check out because the charge is based on your state of residence. The standard cost for the screening is $20 unless you are a resident of the following states:

Maine-$35
Michigan-$25
Montana-$35
New Hampshire-$40
New York-$45
South Dakota-$35
Vermont and Wyoming-$30

Please note that this check runs off of two national databases and also does a local and state search based on your current residence, thus the variation in pricing due to state and county additional fees. If you have moved regularly over the last 5 years, your check may take longer.

This screening is required for USL member coaches to hold a current US Lacrosse coaching certification of any level. It is good for two years. US Lacrosse revokes the membership and declines certification for individuals who do not meet the criteria for "green light" status with the National Center for Safety Initiatives according to the standards established by US Lacrosse based on national guidelines and recommendations for adults involved in youth sport.
