This interactive workshop is presented free of charge by US Lacrosse. Participants will learn how to introduce students of any age to lacrosse in a co-ed environment using soft-lacrosse equipment and the US Lacrosse Physical Education Curriculum. This curriculum for elementary, middle school and high school students was developed by US Lacrosse in partnership with NASPE and aligns with the National Standards for Physical Education. The workshop will be facilitated by seasoned physical educators with experience using the curriculum and equipment in their own schools.
Attendees will learn about PE Lacrosse equipment, rules and safety, skills, and best practices. They will then participate in hands-on activities, games and drills that can be used and modified in a variety of settings. Attendees will also receive a complimentary copy of the curriculum (retail value $50) and learn about equipment and training grant opportunities from US Lacrosse.
