The Medical Symposium is a comprehensive, national level event on men’s and women’s lacrosse-specific sports medicine. This event is open to all members of the medical and lacrosse communities, including physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, allied health personnel, coaches, administrators and students.
The event will feature presentations and panel discussions on the following topics:
- The State of Youth Sports in America
- Positive Youth Lacrosse Experience
- Trends in Lacrosse Injury Types and Public Health Interventions
- ACL Injuries and Prevention Strategies
- Nutrition for Lacrosse Athletes
- Head Acceleration Research in Lacrosse
- Returning Athletes to the Field
- Research and Medical Challenges for Lacrosse in 2015
Three optional bonus sessions will also be offered:
- The MLL Experience
- Lacrosse Helmet Fitting and Facemask Removal
- CPR and AED Training

Pricing and Registration
**To Register: You must create or login to your free US Lacrosse account. You can do this by clicking “Login” at the top of the page. From here you will be asked to either log-in, or create a new, free account. Once you are logged in, you will be able to select your price point and process payment.**
$35- Convention Attendees: The Sports Medicine Symposium is being hosted in conjunction with the 2015 US Lacrosse Convention. Convention attendees will receive a special rate of $35 when registering for the Convention and adding the Symposium to your order.
$50- Student Rate: This rate applies to any student, medical or non-medical. You will be asked to see Student ID upon Check-In.
$100- General Attendee/Allied Medical Rate: This rate is for any general attendee, coach, administrator, or Allied Medical person.
$150- Physician’s Rate: This rate is for any physician attending the Symposium. You will need this rate to receive your CME credits.
